The game introduces a unique audio combat mechanic that stands apart from previous gaming experiences. Should players choose a non-combative approach, they have the option to sneak past or flee from enemies, showcasing an intricate stealth mechanic.

The World - 
The Pitch Black universe extends beyond this series of games, inviting players to explore further through the Tales of Dusklight binaural audiobook series. Additionally, an interactive binaural ambience explorer allows participants to immerse themselves in soundscapes from Dusklight.
